About blogging

Ich stöbere zur Zeit in verschiedenen blogs herum, besuche sie regelmässig und lese täglich einige Artikel oder schaue mich nach schönen Bildern um. Mir fällt auf, dass es ein Genre von Blogs gibt, welches sich mit einem ästhetischen Tagebuch vergleichen lässt, poetische Gedanken reihen sich an Trouvaillen aus der Bilderkiste des Web.
Fast möchte ich diese Art von Blog als einem Beitrag zum kollektiven Gedächtnis bezeichnen - interessant dabei ist auch, dass ich in den Kommentaren andere Blogger wiederfinde, deren Blog ich eben las, und denen ich vielleicht eine Nachricht hinterlassen habe, die Blogs verweisen also untereinander aufeinander und ergänzen sich so zu bestimmten Thematiken oder bilden so zusammen ein gewissens Bild der Welt.

I translated your comments and understood that you see certain aesthetic journals or blogs such as mine as serving "collective memory." This is a very interesting idea. We often tend to see what we are doing within the personal sphere and yet we also belong to a greater social reality. We have a certain time and place in history and our personal perspective is also a reflection of that.

I see that you have a picture of one of those rare flowers growing. To me these flowers are an "aria" or breath. That is- from a mystical perspective.

thank you for your comment and for your feedback.... I think these ideas about collective memories and about our personal perspective on time and place in history should be developped further....
