Phantom / Fossil
I started collectionning images of an absence when I saw someone dying and I suddenly saw that this person was still there, that her face was there, but that her eyes and herself were elsewhere, maybe not absent, but not where I was. All the images represent for me something that is not here, or something that has gone, or something that I cannot capture. The fossile is the trace that remains of something living. It is the trace that interests me. And the living, or the image that is a caption of something in movement. Letter to Elías
